Outlook 2007
The configuration Microsoft Outlook 2007 is a three step process. You will need to ensure that your Outgoing SMTP settings point to the Rocketseed branding server, that your mails are correctly formatted in HTML and that your Character Encoding is set correctly.
If you follow the procedures below, you will be sending Rocketseed branded emails in no time!

SMTP Settings
Click on the Tools option in the main Outlook toolbar – A menu will appear
Click the Account Settings option – The Account Settings window will open
Double click on the Account that needs to be changed – The edit accounts screen as shown below will be displayed
- Enter the server name “the value provided by Rocketseed” in the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box
- Click More Settings – A new window will open
- Click on the Outgoing Server tab – The Email Internet Setting screen, as shown below, will be displayed
- Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
- Select Log on using
- Enter the User Name “the value provided by Rocketseed” as indicated (as supplied by your Parrot Digital representative)
- Enter the Password “the value provided by Rocketseed” as indicated (as supplied by your Parrot Digital representative). *Note that the password is case sensitive, so you must enter it exactly – the capital letters are important!
- Check Remember password
- Click on the Advanced tab – The screen shown below will be displayed
- Enter Port Number 587 as the Outgoing Server (SMTP)
- Select TLS in Use the following type of encrypted connection
- Click OK
- Click Cancel
HTML Settings
- Click on the Tools option in the Outlook toolbar – A menu will be displayed
- Select Options from the menu – The Options screen will be shown
- Click the Mail Format tab – The Mail Format screen will be displayed as shown below
- Choose HTML from the Compose in this message format list
- Click OK
Encoding Settings
- Click on the Tools option in the top tool bar – A dropdown menu will be displayed
- Select Options from the menu – The Options screen will be shown
- Click on the Mail Format tab
- Click on the International Options button – The International Options screen will be displayed as shown below
- Select the Unicode (UTF-8) option from the Preferred encoding for outgoing messages list
- Click OK
- Click OK
